Melody Bar

The Melody Bar is the core mechanism through which you can play music. This tutorial teaches you the basics for how to use it.

Keyboard Shortcuts

If you have a regular keyboard available you can enhance your playing by using the following shortcuts:

Spacebar - Sustain (also used for keeping traces until the stylus is lifted)

Command/Windows - Offset notes by 1 semitone (equivalent to "/" crossing modifier)

Option/Alt - Offset notes down by 1 semitone (equivalent to "\" crossing modifier)

Number keys - Switch between the first 10 bars.

Row Q to ] - Plays any offset or looper bar that is configured to be played by this row. The center note is Y

Row A to " - Plays any offset or looper bar that is configured to be played by this row. The center note is H

Row Z to / - Plays any offset or looper bar that is configured to be played by this row. The center note is N
